Hypnosis

Hypnosis is simply the extreme power of suggestion, where the therapist (hypnotist) guides you into a relaxed and mentally receptive state. Then he makes suggestions for what you should do or how you should respond to certain stimuli or events. Hypnosis has been used to help people get rid of bad habits like smoking and overeating. It has helped people with weight problems. It can be successful because it recognizes that there are parts of the mind that can be influenced and at times even controlled to produce an advantage. It is possible to do self hypnosis, but I don’t advise that; I strongly recommend a therapist.
